Viper Safety and Compliance (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This statement explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: email address and authentication details managed by our secure auth provider.
  • Zones you save: names, locations, and zone types you add to your account.
  • Place and route queries: addresses or place names you search and route details you plan.
  • Usage events: actions like place checks, route plans, and exports to help us understand feature usage.
  • Live tracking data (Plus only): GPS location pings when you choose to enable live tracking for your own records.
  • Billing information: subscription status and payment status handled by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers.

2. How we use your information

  • To display your saved zones and check addresses against them.
  • To plan road-following routes and show segment timelines.
  • To send renewal reminders and calendar events you create.
  • To provide proximity alerts and live tracking for Plus users.
  • To process subscriptions and trial status.
  • To improve app reliability and fix errors.

3. How we store and protect data

Your data is stored in a managed cloud database with row-level security and encryption in transit. Access is limited to your account and the service roles required to run the app.

4. What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not share your location or zone data with advertisers.
  • We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.

5. Location and tracking

Location access is optional. Current-location and live-tracking features only run when you explicitly enable them. You can stop tracking at any time from the tracking page.

6. Communications and recordings

Notes, voice transcriptions, and messages you enter in the Communications log are stored in your account and are not shared with third parties.

7. Your choices

  • You can add, edit, or delete your saved zones at any time.
  • You can export or delete alerts and communications from the authenticated sections of the app.
  • You can cancel your Plus subscription from the settings page.

8. Changes to this statement

We may update this statement as features change. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page shows the most recent revision.
