Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 8, 2026 · Version v2.1

What changed in v2.1: Noted that reminder channel choices are stored in your browser and, when signed in, on your account. Previous version 2.0 — August 28, 2026.

This app uses cookies and similar browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage, and IndexedDB) to keep you signed in, remember your settings, and — only with your permission — measure feature usage.

1. Strictly necessary

  • Authentication: session tokens that keep you signed in to your account.
  • Preferences: map buffer distance, alert and notification toggles, holiday reminder settings, and your cookie choice itself.
  • Local recordings: incident recordings you capture are stored in your browser (IndexedDB) until you delete them.
  • Payments: Stripe sets storage needed to complete checkout securely.

These cannot be switched off — the app will not function without them.

2. Optional analytics

When you allow analytics, we record aggregate usage events (for example “address checked”, “route planned”, “reminder created”) tied to your account so we can see which features are used and improve reliability. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or data brokers, and we never sell this data.

3. Your current choice

You have not made a choice yet. The banner at the bottom of the page lets you decide.

4. Managing storage in your browser

You can clear cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings. Clearing them signs you out and removes locally stored recordings and settings that have not been saved to your account.
